Russ Chimes’s ‘Turn Me Out’ is currently being used for BBC Three and Radio 1′s Summer of Live Music advert which we think is a great choice as it is a top summer tune!

Russ also recently uploaded his remix of Josh Kumra’s ‘The answer which has already received blog love from the likes of Dancing Astronaut, Electronic Rumours, soundisstye amongst others.

And for those who are feeling they need more from the Chimes, here is this 45 min mixtape which Russ put together for Topman a couple of weeks ago.

After selling out in just a few days a little while back, Madeon’s official merch store is restocked with a couple new additions which you can get your hands on here. Time to sit back and unwind… It is officially SPRING (as in it’s above 10°) which means it’s almost summer! Festival season is literally at our doorstep and we are already fidgeting impatiently in our chairs. It doesn’t help knowing that Russ Chimes will be getting fully involved with this summer’s festivities. So far, we can announce that he will be playing at Isle of Wight Festival on the 14th of June, Wakestock Festival on the 12th of July, Creamfields on the 23rd of August and Jersey Live Music Festival on the 1st of September. We can’t wait! In the meantime, here is a little taste of what’s to come with the mini mix Mr. Chimes did for Annie Mac a couple of months back.

Stay Awake, a track by Madeon which was on the UK deluxe version of the Ellie Goulding album Halcyon, is officially out of the closet and made its way to the top of the hypem chart yesterday! Go check it out on his soundcloud page and if you like what you hear you can go grab it on Beatport here.

We’re pretty sure you’re as excited as us about this long weekend ahead! Obviously we’re looking forward to all the chocolate but really… we can’t wait to get down to The Nest in Dalston on Sunday. It’s going to be big, Russ Chimes will be playing along with Starsmith and Kele Okereke. Expect some pretty intense body shakes and some new bits from him too. See you there? Yes, yes we will!

We think it’s fair to say Madeon has come a loooooong way since we last posted about him. From touring with Lady Gaga on her Born This Way Ball North American tour as well as a string of his own sold out shows to then being the first ever Electronic Artist in history to perform a show on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange (http://bit.ly/YNq7WT) to then head straight over to New Zealand and Australia for the Future Music Festival tour then back again last week to the US for the Ultra Music festival, but yet he still managed to find the time whilst in Oz to put together a magnificent 33 min mix live at Triple J for Nina Las Vegas’s show! Remember Russ Chimes debuted his single Turn Me Out on Annie Mac’s Special Delivery a couple of months ago? Well… this very track climbed up the Hypem chart like there was no tomorrow, staying in the top 3 all of last week! It’s coming out soon on Deconstruction/Columbia Records and we literally can’t wait to see you all throwing some shapes to this summer anthem (wellies and sunnies will be required)!
